Subject: Pairing up socks, the great debate

Texas/New Mexico Stateline
Growing up my mom was the type to pair up socks. You know, pull the elastic part down over the other. Even if all the socks were the same, or generally the same.

Then during my bachelor years, I quickly abandoned this silly waste of time, and simply threw them into the drawer in a pile. They are all basically the same cotton sock, with gray sole.

Now wifey started out our marriage pairing up my socks, and I graciously told her not to waste her time. But now she want the kids to pair their socks.

Is it worth the battle or let it go?
