| Has anyone herd or have any more info on this new tracking system? From what I gather it is a tracking system in which the cow swallows the bolus and it stays in the animals rumen permanently. The device can track animal health and give its exact location as well.
I could see some great benefits from a system like this. What are some drawbacks anyone can see? One i can see is if you would like to put a tracking system on feeder cattle it wouldn't work as well. Would be nice to have a reusable ear tag in that situation.
Been thinking that there has to be a cattle tracking system that can be widely adapted with how technology is advancing.
