Subject: Where are the rootworm beetles?

Kankakee, IL
OK, I believe that I have spent enough time scouting my corn and soybean fields to ask that question. To date I have counted a total of 2 adult rootworm beetles in my corn. May the remainder R.I.P.! Excessive rain has done them in. The real question is this. How many of you will be changing seed traits for next year because of the absence of this pest? I know this is a "location" question because not all farms have had the rain we have had to provide this blessing. I already raise conventional, excuse me NON-GMO, corn on a share of my acres and this helps for next year. Wonder if this may provide a run on conventional seed for 2016 as well. I saw a 2016 price sheet already and some of the prices on conventional are not priced based off of the included input traits. Just my opinion.
