| We have an awful time getting control of ragweed we grow 1400 acres of non gmo beans, 1400 acres of corn, 300 of wheat and 120 oats we cant seem to get good control of ragweed i dont know if its because we have some resistance from spraying flexstar for so many years we did two different pre emrge applications this year we used
Fierce XLT @ 4.0 oz/Ac 10Gal/Ac.
Metribuzin @ 5.0 oz/Ac
and
Boundary @ 2 Pts/Ac 10Gal/Ac.
Authority XL @ 5 oz/Ac
then we normally come in with flexstar and volunteer and spot for broadleafs and grass
Flexstar @ 1.3 Pts/Ac. (North east Ohio ) 20Gal/Ac.
Volunteer @ 8 oz/Ac.
I thought our timing was really good with the pre we tried to spray right before a good rain anyone have any better ideas i guess we could bump our carrier up to 15 on our pre but i dont know if it will make that big of a difference also it seems we can never get in the field when ragweeds are below 6" | |
