Subject: Wheat dockage

Appomattox/Fredericksburg, VA
Is anyone else sick of growing good wheat to have it picked apart with discounts? My wheat goes up to PA to the flour mills and I'm getting fed up with it. Depending where it goes it's gotten docked at test weights of 59.4, 59.1, the last one they took 10 cents for 58.6 which was the lowest TW I sent up there. Never mind the fact they hit you with some 1% or so dockage for "DK" whatever that means. This was 2014 wheat. Heaven help us with 2015. Quality is going to be hard to come by here. If it doesn't go for milling wheat you'd just as well not grow it around here. I'll get off my soapbox now. Just wondering if I'm the only one who feels this way.
