Subject: Late, late, late(r) plant beans. Any insight?

Curious on NAT'ers opinions on late to non-insured bean planting. Usually we grow a 2.8-4.0, we are on 30" beans but this late in the season should we double back on 15's for faster canopy/water retention of it would turn dry in late July/august? Bump the beans up to an early 2 or stick with full season?

Thanks in advance, trying to get ducks in a row for when/if the fields dry out
