South cental Ohio | I posted before about needing a meatloaf recipe-- thank you for the replies. I've tried a few and they were GREAT ! Now I ask for a little help with a mac and cheese recipe. My mom used to make a baked mac and cheese. All I can remember is that she cooked the macaroni first and layered it in her corning ware dish with the cheese ( maybe longhorn?) and possibly put something else in the layers. When it was about done baking she would crush up some potato chips and sprinkle them on top. Man was it ever good! Could any of you tell me what the exact ingredients were? There may have been some flour involved and some milk??? I hate to bother asking anyone for these recipes but it really helps me remember what a great cook ( mother LOL) I had . Thank you. | |
