Subject: Shipping frozen meats

The Green Hills of Missouri

I would like to ship half a frozen hog to a military family 1050 miles away. I'm close to the Quad City's and they are in South Carolina.

I assume airplane is the best/fastest. Who would I contact at the airport? How would I go about packaging to prevent damage and protect the contents? Please be specific, I've no experience.
