Southwest MN | Just wondering if anyone on here that raises sheep has a way of preventing lambs slipping through your fence line feed bunks. Last year had some train wrecks with our later group of ewes and lambs. Because the lambs were not staying where they belong. Basically trying to see if anyone has an idea of how to keep the lambs on right side of the feed bunks. here is a couple pictures of our current set up looking to make some changes but the gap between the neck rail and the top of the bunk was at 12" and is now moved to 8". trying to get something figured out that is simple and won't require to much headache when feeding. have thought about using a hot wire on back side of bunks but haven't figured out a good winner on how to do it.
