SoCenIL | We raised a few pumpkins this year. Ended up with 25. Not bad for first try. Bugs are hard on them.
Anyway on this cold windy day my wife and I decide to cook some of them up and clean the pulp out and put it up for pie and cake. We cooked 3 pumpkins and got 20 cups of pumpkin puree.
We also toasted the seeds and man are they good. Ended up with 4 cups of them.
Will have enough puree to make lots of pie. Yum. | |
