Beresford, SD | Late this afternoon while combining corn my dad chased a Bull ELK out of the corn field.....I'd did not see it, as I was at the bin unloading corn. I asked him if a got a pic. he was so excited and dumb founded he never got a chance. This is crazy....in the last five years we have seen mountain lions, mule deer and now an ELK..........THIS IS EASTERN SD for gods sake! Made for an exciting evening for dad anyway.......kinda funny as my brother bagged a 6x6 bull this week...he lives in Great Falls Montana. He shot this elk on in the little belt mountains SE of Great Falls. A True wall hanger in deed!!!!!!
