| Wheat exports were much bigger last year because cash wheat was a discount to corn just before corn harvest, end users were buying and using wheat instead of corn as a feed grain. This year cash wheat is a sizable premium to corn,so wheat is not a feed grain, couple that with sanctions the Ruskies are moving wheat and with the consumers in their part of the world freight has kept the U.S> out of the picture,
