Subject: Question on Sudan / Wrapping

sc ks
Have a customer/neighbor that has some sudan that I would say is in the 5-6 FT range he has been wanting to get it down but has been to much of a rainy forecast. Had a lead on possibly getting somebody to wrap it. What is a good moisture to wrap at? Also had another customer another yr that baled his in I believe 3x4 square bales and wrapped. It was possibly baled to wet....He did not have good luck with his cows that yr they did not do real good on it.............. Had somebody tell me that if you didn't chop or cut up sudan that all the energy is in the bottom of the stalk. Is this true? Chopping is out of the question....It would be the best option in my opinion but this customer is not set up to feed silage he feed everything in bale feeders think mostly the ones with the cradles in them.Any help would be appreciated.................If you can understand this rats nest:):):):)
