Subject: What's going on in my beans

First pic is the line where I had corn last year on the right, left side was beans last year. Is it a fertilizer tie up issue? Whole field was vertical tilled this spring and drilled with 70lbs of 11-52in a midrow band at planting and then spread 100lbs of ams just before flowering.

Second pic is an area with some dead plants. It is kind of a drain area though and we just had 2inches last weekend. Will plants just die like that.
