Manitoba | Looking at getting a used 25-30 hp tractor for yard work. Would be used with a loader, tiller, 3pt mower. 3 pt sprayer maybe other things I haven't thought of. Have a 60" zero turn mower which already does the nice mowing. The tractor will replace a 13.5 hp Yanmar tractor which I inherited from my Dad and is at least 30 yrs old. About all it does is rototill. Ive found an 07 Agco ST30X with low hrs for a decent price. They have an Iseki engine.. Are they good tractors? Has hydro trans. It doesn't have a loader so Id have to spend more than $5000 on a new one. Have also looked at a L3400 Kubota which got sold on me which came with a loader. Haven't found any used Case, JD, or NH in our area that I like. Main question was about the Agco but wouldn't mind comments on other compact tractors. Funny how online there's more info on compact tractors than the big ones with all the wanna be farmers living on acerages. Thought Id rather get my info on here. | |
