South central Minnesota | We bought a 16R30 3140 kinze stack fold planter without rear lift assist. When we lower the planter till the linkages are level the bar wants to roll/tilt forward.
If we lengthen the third link of the 3 point enough to force the bar back level when it is lowered, when we pick it up the rubber trench closing wheels are barely come off the ground because the planter is then tilted to far backwards.
Kinze told us to position the bar height gauge wheels ahead of the bar instead of the standard position behind the bar so the bar cannot roll forward when lowered.
