south west Iowa
Most owner s might know that when vac pressure varies a lot and monitor shows max flow
problem can be vac pressure sensor located in right hand seed meter. I carried one with me
and had to change it this year. I had tapped it get out dust but that didn't help.
Also on the pin that holds the marker on the tool bar has a snap ring on one end and a
L shaped pin on the other end to keep the big pin from turning. This L pin broke and let the big pin
holding the marker back out of one side, and when I lowered the marker with the hyd cylinder, it came
down crooked and bent the hyd cylinder rod and one of the ears on the marker. when we took it apart
the 3/8 L pin where the marker folds was showing wear.
I am going to check them daily now.
