Subject: bean meter question

Southern Ohio
I also posted this is in machinery talk but thought I might get some more hits here.

I farm less than 100 acres so my equipment lineup is relatively rough. I started planting my beans and realized that my no till drill is in worse shape than I thought. So I can spend more money on seed that will be wasted or put that money into some bean meters for my jd 7000, which is in descent shape. What are the differences between deere, kinze, and shoup meters?

I have only started reading on this just today so here are the few things that I know, or at least think that I know. The kinze and shoup use the 60 cell plate which you plant 5 times the normal population. Is deere the same? I am also strictly no till and want to experiment more with cover crops. I think I read that the kinze gives you the option to change plates and plant wheat or other types of seed but the deere meters do not? Do the shoup meters give that option to change seed types?

thanks in advance
