Fayette Co, Iowa | First time in a long time that I didn't prepay on starter fertilizer. Im 2x2 with a 1770nt. And was going to go with "ole faithful" 10-34-0 & some thiosulfate. 8 gallon of 10-34-0, and 2 gallon of thio. For a total of 10 gallons per acre. But the local dealer said try some 7-18-5... Anyone use it? Any input would be great.
10-34-0 is $510.00 per ton
7-18-5 is $425.00 per ton ( $90.00 cheaper than a year ago today)
