Subject: Cheap hay crop before beans

Kansas
I just picked up some ground in a non double crop bean county. I usually do a corn wheat/dc bean rotation. I want to eventually insure the double crop beans but need three years of history so I figured better get started on that. There is two fields and I figured I plant the smaller one to a hay crop that I could hay sometime before mid june and then go with soybeans afterwards. Never have done any hay before but my neighbor is just starting in cattle and was needing some hay this year so figured could help him out. What would be a good hay crop that would fit this bill that I could follow with soybeans that would be cost effective.
