Northeast Louisiana | It would probably be a safe bet that we will never see another year like 2013. We had our highest yield ever on all 4 crops we grew, and while we didn't hit the crazy high markets as well as some did, we did pretty well. The beans all left as they were cut. The cotton got sold in Dec/Jan, and we finished hauling rice a couple of weeks ago. We hauled the last bin of corn yesterday and this morning. Kind of the last of the good feeling of '13, now it's back to the reality that we're not off to a very good start for '14. I guess that's farming.
