I was doing chores for my neighbor. He has a JD 7410 powerquad on the feeder wagon. I was in B2 and was going to shift to C1. When I pushed the clutch in I put the lever into neutral, moved it into the C slot but it would not go in. I then tried to go back into B range and the lever won't go beyond to C range slot. So the lever is stuck, it only moves about an inch back and forth in the neutral slot. I let the clutch out and I was still in B range so I finished feeding but would like to help him fix it tomorrow. Has anyone had this problem before? I know nothing about this tractor, too new for me.:~) I called him and he said that he had never had this problem before. The tractor has 8400 hrs if that matters. Any help is greatly appreciated! TIA
