WC Indiana | Thought some people might not have seen drip tape installed, especially in Indiana. We are just wrapping up a 50 acre project on my sand farm where we put in drip in the corners and other areas that we can’t reach with the pivots. We brought this farm from 70% irrigated to 95% irrigated.
We first started out with 3, me and the 2 guys that worked for me. We realized very quickly that we needed some more manpower. I called my high school daughters and told them to tweet that I needed help. They had a friend who has 800 followers tweet that I needed help. I had these 7 guys in a little over an hour. That was cool.
We should finish up tomorrow. We’ve had about 6 inches in the last 2 weeks so this may not get much use this year but should help my field average in most years.
