Subject: wiring in second jump-start button on Field IQ

C IL

Hard to hold down the spring-loaded jumpstart toggle, hit the hydrostat, and steer at the same time in the corners.  Oh yeah - and also double-tap the foot switch we wired in that activates the master on-off.

Working with my dealer - an FMX can program in a delay after hitting the toggle for the jumpstart speed, but he's waiting to hear back if the 750 can do the same (doesn't look like it to me based on the manual and screens).

Anybody know how to wire in a remote switch for the jumpstart?  Using the EZ-remote or by splicing a switch in parallel somewhere?  Would be especially convenient to wire in a switch on the hydro handle completely separate from Trimble's box.

Other (less convenient but still perfectly acceptable) idea is to somehow take the spring out of the jump-start switch so it stays locked in place while I run the hydro for the first few seconds.

Appreciate anyone else's experiences.   I can't be the first guy to want this.
