King City, Mo | After my dad past away in 2006 me and one of his old friends became good friends. He is 73 and I'm 28.
He's a retired farmer and hauls cattle and hay.
He had not been feeling good for 3 weeks and finally we to the clinic last Monday. The clinic called me to take him down to the Hostipal.
His blood sugar was up to 498 and his left foot was bleeding and swelled up so much he couldn't get his boot on. He had a diabetic abses in his foot.
He had not been to a dr since he was in the military 50 years ago....
He is diabetic now and we found out this morning that hell get to keep his foot.
His wife fought cancer for several years and past away 4 years ago.
So all thoughts and prayers for him would be appreciated.
So any old hard headed farmers who wait forever to go to the dr please go before it gets too bad. | |
