NW IA | I installed a Sensor 1 "mushroom" GPS receiver to comunicate ground speed to my Early Riser monitor and Smartbox system. If this information is being fed into both monitors is it neccesary to perform the speed calibration for either system? It would seem that you should be able to set the insecticide amount per foot of row and run.
Should have had this figured out long ago but just got ths "new to me" planter ( Case 1240 ) home yesterday afternoon. Any tips for getting this thing calibrated would be apreciated. Will probably spend the day going through the steps in the manual; looks kind of complicated but may not be too bad once I get started.
