| Have any of you grazers ever combined your own turnip seed??
Needless to say, we had some brassica come out of winter kicking butt and taking names, and I went down to rotate some cows today and noticed that they are flowering like a son of a gun and thicker than i originally thought.
I walked out through them, and the bumble bees are so thick that you could drink them, and it appears that lower blooms are developing is droves!
We are no strangers to seed production and have harvested our own red clover, rye grass, winter annuals,... etc.
I held off on turning cows in there for the time being because was curious what the viability of seed production might be.
Does anyone know if growth regulator is required on brassica under normal seed production management?
Any and all information would be greatly appreciated!
