Subject: Pipe line easement

Their is a pipeline that runs along the railroad tracks of a field we farm. We just started farming it so we would like to take out the trees. The pipeline stays they have a 25' easement from the center of the pipe on either side and they do not want any track hoe or bulldozer any closer than that just chain saw. The pipeline is only 7" deep. I don't think I want to get close to it. My question is if the trees are on their easement that is in our field should they have to take care of the trees?
