Houston County, GA | I'm pretty familiar with how most row cropping or farming in general takes place but I was confused when I went duck hunting in Arkansas this past year. Do you guys drill rice or plant on rows? Why does the land have to be so level and have terraces? Also why do a lot of growers in the delta area send water down the rows (like soybean fields) instead of having a pivot or drip tape. Good looking country out there though. Interesting farming and amazing duck hunting! | |
