Subject: Sprayer Tractor opinion

Southeast SD
Hey Guys - curious what you think on a sprayer tractor upgrade. We currently use a 400 gallon pull type with a single axle and 60' booms to spray with, have an old IH856 tractor that works really well on it, has 16.9 x 38 rear tires so it fits down our 30" rows really nicely. Last fall we bought a nicer used 1000 gallon tandem axle Hardi sprayer with 60' booms, the problem is now I'm not sure if the 856 will handle that sprayer with the extra weight and another 600 gallons of water. We could use a 2096 CaseIH front wheel assist (has 18.4 x 38 rears) if we can get the wheels to space out right for 30" rows. What do you guys think?

Thanks.
Chris
