This year I'm raising 2 steers for beef. Wife is wondering if a couple of round cornstalk bales would be of any value for them? Hay is going to be a bit tighter than I had thought. Currently on 5 lbs cracked corn and 1 lb protein per head per day and about all the grass hay they want. Weigh around 600 lbs or so. Would continue on the corn/protein and grass. Any thoughts?
