Elk Mound WI | I need to advise on a calf. She is a month old holstein and not transitioning to a bucket. I have been feeding from a bottle and try from time to time to get her to drink out of a bucket like everyone else. My first thought was to just feed her from a bottle and then when it ate enough calf starter wean it. The problem is it won't eat any starter or hay on it own. It will eat if I hand feed it. I have tried every trick I know to get it to drink from a bucket. Any thoughts or ideas would be great. The calf did get clostrum at birth. | |
