Subject: processing my shell corn pics

whitesville new york
we are storing the corn in the shed. with these unusual warm tempatures it is heating a little not bad. the pictures are of the pile. augar, rollermill, skid steer, and the elevator we used to get it in the pile. i fill a small bucket on my skid steer out of the roller mill. then i take 2-3 bucket fulls a day up and dump in a feed cart and transfer to a wheelborrow before it is fed. works ok, i wouldn't want to feed much more using this process.

i have been feeding it for a week now with my renaissance nutritionist. cows are up 3lbs and looks like componets might be a little better also, just a little early to tell. all and all i'm pleased.
