Subject: SEMEX changed labels, what would you do??

Alentejo, Portugal

A few weeks ago i bought 400 straws of a semex bull. (Maritime) Semex now invented a new label (immunity+ or something like that) and suddenly my supplier cannot deliver because semex now wants 10 euro (about 11 or 12 dollars) more per straw. Only because that bull tests good for immunity, not because its indexes altered anything. My salesman (who happens to be my BIL) was all fed up with it and instead of delivering me the straws, came and give me the good news.... local supplier wants to make a deal with some other bulls but i think it should be Semex itself who should come up with an answer.

I mean if the bull suddenly would cost 10 bucks less they wouldn´t call me either don´t you think??

If i buy a load of soymeal or corn or whatever and i buy it TODAY for lets say 250 and tomorrow it costs 300, my supplier still delivers for 250.

What would you guys do and what can i expect from Semex?

TIA Dennis
