![](https://talk.newagtalk.com/forums/get-attachment.asp?attachmentid=733820&imagerotation=118) Frytown, Iowa | I have not been in this scenario before... i was shooting my bow tonight and had my son easton and my dog gabby out with me... i started shooting and talking, saying stuff like "that arrow went a bit to the left but i think it was me and not the bow..." or "i should have tried that shot kneeling like i would in a real hunt"
it dawned on me... who should i be talking to? i know for a fact that gabby knows more english than easton... things like "sit", "stay", "lets go", "go get em", and "pheasant" are probably half of gabbys vocabulary...
easton doesnt know anything yet... however... do you talk to the dog or to your son?
i ended up talking to both... one because her brain was a little more advanced at this stage... and the other because hes my son...
shots are at 40,50, and 60 yards... dont ask me which ones are which... i had to quit because SOMEone was getting crabby...
