Baldwin City, KS | We have been adding some prairie and native hay fields to our mix. I have never seen a fertilizer spreader in a prairie field in my life, but I know that can't be right, since it still is a total removal process. I'm aware they don't really respond to N, but what about P&K? What are economical rates to apply from a yield and quality stand point? I'm talking crop usage here, as I can't pencil building back up somebody elses field that never saw a prill of fertilizer. | |
