East central Iowa | If a farmer has 1000 acres and he raises most years 500 acres of corn and 500 acres of beans and the yields are 190 for corn and 55 for beans then he has 27500 bushels of beans to sell and 95000 bushels of corn to sell.
If beans go up or down 10¢ thats $2,750.00 and if corn goes up or down that's $9,500.00
A total increase of decreas of $12,250.00
Yet I read people on here who I suspect may have more acres and bushels than I've stipulated saying they want a certain gun that costs about $1200. Why not get it? You either lose or make that much almost everyday in the markets. |
