Grays Creek, NC | We farm around 350 acres of corn, all of it under center pivots. We will soon be in the market for a new(er) planter, and I would really like to switch to 20" rows. We farm everything from sandy to heavy black soil. Has anybody made the change and seen a considerable yield difference? I know you would get a canopy quicker, but that's not really an issue for us, we always have excellent weed control. Any opinions are very much appreciated. | |
