Washington Co Ks
Has any one had experience with VRT. I was going to try it with United Farmers Coop out of York Neb. with branches in NC Ks. So far it seems like some kind of joke. The zone maps came back with whole fields the same zone. I've worked this ground for 60 years and you can't tell me that any of my fields have the same soil in the whole field. One of them has some of my best and worst soil in the same field but not according to them. On top of that they send the soil samples out from York and I guess they don't know when we plant wheat. The locale goofs fiddle farted around and didn't get the samples pulled when they should have and now they say they don't know when they can get results as York thinks they have all winter to send them in. I'm not at all convinced that bigger is better when you can't look the head guy in the eye to tell him what you think.
