| the St350 project (DD series 60 and allison 4000) was humming along nicely even having to lift the tractor a couple of inches with spacers (it's so nice having a small manufacturing company with a laser table and emachine software), but I tried to fit the lower gear ratio gears into the steiger swinging style drop box - no go. I'm debating fabricating a hole new housing ala old pokey, but a better, cheaper, easier solution 'may present itself'. Next it's a call to steiger expert John to see what he has laying around and hope I find a JD powershift trans for $3500.
Just thought I'd let you guys have a status update.
