Subject: Will a rain help your bean crop?

Corydon, IA

Judging by the markets today somebody must think so. Sounds like some are forecasting chances later this week for some places. Looked at some of my beans saturday and the blooms are drying up and turning brown now. After the 100+ heat this weeks Id say they may be toast too. Cant say that I am thinking rain will do any good for them now unless they get some new growth in the top of the plant.
