Subject: Common sense for stressed yields

Eastern, IN
A friend of mine once told me how to figure corn yields without ever walking in the field. I will tell you it is really close.

Start the day after you plant corn with your average yeild. For everday it rains, add 1 bushel, every day it is over 90 deduct 1 bu. Every day it is dry (in your opinion) deduct 1 bu (so some days could loose 2 bu). If the day is a peferct day for corn (in your opinion) do not add or deduct.

I might be off alittle from what he told me but it is darn close.
