Here in North Florida we had  tropical storm Beryl leave about 6 inches of rain about a month ago. In the last 4 days some areas have had over a foot of rain, and they are calling for another 12 to 20 inches before the week is over,all from tropical storm Debby. She is settled over the area , and is barely moving. Very little wind, but when she has moved on, it is possible some places will have gotten nearly 30 inches of rain in 30 days.
The weather service is saying some creeks will set new flood records, and homes are being evacuated in low lying areas.
After many dry years, we knew Mother Nature would do this to us sooner or later.
