| I was a little surprised to get a NOTICE OF VIOLATION from the Village of Maywood IL. First I wondered where the heck is Maywood? Finally found it in the south edge of Chicago. I was suppose to have parked a vehicle at 1227 S. 20th Street at 2:15 in the morning. Trying to identify the vehilce was a little harder because instead of using the Lisense plate number they used the VIN#. Well, the vehicle in question isn't mine, VIN# doesn't match and I've never been to Maywood anyway. Now there are some who would believe that this is and innocent error. I'm not one of them. Several years back there were a group of Farm Bureau members in this area that got parking tickets from the City of Chicago, way to many to be an error. Anyhow now I have to explain to them these details in a letter, they have stolen my time and my postage. I will tell them to impound the vehicle and send me notice, then if they can guarntee me a clear title I will go to Maywwod pay whatever fines and claim the vehicle. | |
