Central Illinois | Have a John Deere 4960 that is blowing anti freeze out the over flow. It has done this for a couple years. The reservoir gets full then it pushes the anti freeze out. There is no anti freeze in the oil nor does the 49 use any oil. It also does not get hot or warm when using the tractor. Once the radiator is down about 2 gallons of anti freeze it stops blowing it out. Any ideas what might be causing this. Deere says it might be a blown head gasket or cracked sleeve. I rely don't want them to tear into the motor just to see. Thanks for any input. | |
