I was shopping around trying to decide if I should try the Optima batteries I have heard so much about. But the thing that gets me is they only have a 3 year warranty, 1 year for "commercial". If they are so good, why not offer a longer warranty? I can get a national parts premium sloshing battery for less than 1/2 what the Optima costs, and it has a 7 year warranty. Why not stick with the old tried and true?
