Subject: 12 row pluribus requirements

South Central South Dakota
I currently run a 8 row dawn system and really like it i pull it with a 7920 deere and run at speeds of 7.5-9 mph depending on how much product im putting down.

I would like to upgrade to a 12 row so i could slow down some 9mph is faster then i care to run but i almost half to so i can cover the acres id like to in a day not to mention rocks. Id pefer to run at the 7 mph mark which a 12 row at that speed would allow me to cover the acres i want to but my big concern is if the 7920 is enough tractor for the job. I know horsepower wise i am right there but with a full rack of weights on front will it be enought?

I can always go to mg 8970 4x4 but i think that may be a bit over kill it.

So whats the smallest tractor that guys are pulling 12 row pluribus with and 5 ton of fert?
