Subject: Newborn Bleeding

Southern Saskatchewan
Had a calf lastnight in the barn and he was lucky enough I came in right after he was born due to the sack still around his head and the head turned underneath him. Took care of that issue. Left Mom and son to bond and when i went to check 20 min later he wasn't up and not even attempting. She had not done a good job of licking him off so I got in to look closer. There was a two foot diameter of bloody straw under him which I contributed to mom but thought I would check him out really finding nothing. Left them together for another hour and still same. So out he came to the heat lamp due to him being cooler than he should,so heated him up and tubed him. This a.m. I find he is bleeding from the navel not anywere like lastnite but significant enough. What's the treatment guys and gals? Was thinking into vet for IV and examine closer.
