Subject: first GPS mapping, or lightbar?

West Central Alberta Coldest, wettest edge
Looking again for first GPS, for spraying, fert, and maybe for finding my way back after I fall asleep seeding etc. So accuracy isn't vital(no row crops). Odd shaped feilds, but few obstacles. I found a used centerline 220 lightbar for 600, or a new ez guide 250 for about twice that. Any reason not to go for the mapping? Can the 250 save location, areas or shapes? Will they both remember the line/map when turned off? Either price is easy to justify relative to custom spraying.
