Piedmont, NC | Got my 5130 today. Looks pretty good for an older tractor. My tach does not work right. Its got the regular instrument panel in it. It will register full rpm, but will not go back down right. Is this a mechanical tach that can be lubed or is it electronic ? Also what in the world goes over that small square hole beside me on the right floor down by the seat?
And its got the same problem I've seen alot of these have, the hood has lost its mechanical latch and the previous jack leg bent it out so he could get it down. The hood can be bent back as its not to bad, but what is the part number of the entire hood latch thingy? Its got the spring and everything, but whatever was there beyond that is gone. I assume its a cable with a knob, but I could not seem to find it.
Also It cranks pretty good, but I think the fuel is leaking back as it fires on one cylinder for about 5 seconds and then smooths out. I assume that would be the lift pump?Thanks! | |
